Mousesteps Weekly 352: Universal Orlando with Character Social Distancing; Disney Springs; LEGOLAND

In Mousesteps Weekly #352, we talk about the following topics: We stopped at Universal Orlando, planning to visit in the morning but it was busier than expected and we swing by Disney Springs and talk about what is newly opened and forthcoming. After a couple of hours, we headed back to Universal and ended up spending the afternoon in the two parks. During this visit, most of our time was spent on character interactions and walking around to see new procedures. Masks are required and there are social distancing markers in many locations. While it was a rainy afternoon and characters were sometimes inside, we were able to catch quite a few in a fairly short period of time including Spider-Man, King Julien, Guy Diamond and Branch, the Scooby Doo gang, Spongebob Squarepants, Blue and Sierra at Raptor Encounter and many more. Our last segment is at LEGOLAND, Florida (though it was actually our first theme park visited since the closure). We went twice - once during a Model Citizen preview and the other with our Annual Pass on opening day. We did go on a few rides and walked around the park.
