Sunday Morning Devotional - The Jesus Series 23: Lord of the Sabbath

We continue our series on the story of Jesus, examining his life, words, and actions in chronological order through the four Gospels as one complete story. Today, we look at the account in Matthew 12 of the Pharisees challenging Jesus for allowing his disciples to pick grain on the Sabbath. It seems a simple and trivial thing, but it exposes both the hypocrisy of the Pharisees and the mercy of God.
