@Jaguar6gaming5 years ago Economy trip reports are the best. They are so great because most of the first class trip reports are on airlines that I will never fly. Economy is the airline class that most people fly on. I want to see reviews of what is accessible to me. That is what I appreciate about this trip report ... 1

@arnavpareek77216 years ago Great review! Your videos give a great comparison in the aviation world and what it is like to fly each airline. I am super excited to see the Delta review. Also, I love how you are so detailed on just all the little things like legroom or the presentation of flight attendants and I think you are so the best aviation youtuber. Good luck with your future videos!!! ... 9

@user-te3fj1dz5t6 years ago Brilliant Daniel. Pure Gold to us folks here scratching our poor heads over which airline to fly!!!
  • @
@rylieboll84886 years ago I’d fly United any day over American. Delta is still my first choice though 17
  • @
@holdenafart52416 years ago Love this channel. I've flown before when I was younger and I'm terrified of it but this channel has helped change my mindset on flying and under the right circumstances get me back on a jet
  • @
@joshuamcknight116 years ago Love this! I’m flying United very soon and it will be my first time flying with them. And I only really rebuts your reviews, so I was looking forward to it!

  • @
@QuarioQuario543216 years ago The next economy week should be on airlines that are really bad. Spirit, Allegiant, and Frontier look the most comparable. 106
  • @
@mtb4life676 years ago I just flew on a United 757-200 from OGG-DEN in Econ+ and it was a great flight 6
  • @
@matthewt.16536 years ago I flew from LHR to EWR on one of United’s newer 767’s, and it was amazing. The crew were friendly, this one had inflight entertainment, all in all a great flight.
  • @
@matthewduncan62986 years ago Another great review Daniel! Well done!
  • @
@JenS526 years ago Nice review once more!! Lucky with those two seats in a row.
  • @
@bijaannoormohamed43246 years ago Daniel- Your videos are phenomenal! I love every aspect of them! They cover all the crucial main points without being too excessive. Keep up the awesome work!!
  • @

  • @
@egtravel6 years ago I do enjoy your reviews! You are so diplomatic and calm all the time, as all travelers should be. Nice work! 👍
  • @
@cry82156 years ago Great to see the United domestic 777-200. I'll be flying that aircraft from Dublin to Newark in June but I made sure I selected one of the back row seats, row 50A, looks like I made a good choice! 3
  • @
@craigcarey6 years ago I enjoy your channel and the frequency with which you fly. Without being nosy, it’d be nice to hear why you’re travelling to the destinations that you are. It would be engaging and add to the overall narrative of your videos. Keep up the good work! ...
  • @
    @altavelmcnamara6 years ago 1. Delta

@tylerandfriendsgaming15462 years ago You shed light on aspects of United I either don't experience or flat out ignore I don't know which. I just have a really strong emotional attachment to United Airlines.
  • @
@Koledzy1086 years ago I've waited but it was worth it ! I love your channel.
  • @
@phillipsiviter20246 years ago Last time I flew United economy was back in 2000, way back then United were just introducing the 777 on to its trans Atlantic routes. I can remember that the movie selection was pretty basic - there was a bond movie - The World Is Not Enough and Stewart Little for the kids. Once I was done with the movies I had it on the plane/ATC broadcast and following the route on the TV. I can remember the attendants being overworked and a little stressed out by the time we got to Heathrow. ...
  • @
@kirti76596 years ago woooooooo! Another Dantorp Aviation video!! Your video comparisons are extremely fair and reasonable! Props to you dude
  • @
@rossstill6 years ago I've only flown United twice (LHR - LAX). The first flight was great, very friendly smiley flight attendants, one even joked around with me. My return flight, however, was pretty standard and no flight attendants really stuck out to me in their service. United operates the 787 on the London to Los Angeles route which is great being it's quite a long flight so you get some extra comfort.
    Great review Dan! ✈ 😊

@andslau6 years ago Loving economy week, Dan. Useful traveller-centred reviews as always. Sounds like you had good FAs... But that snack served out of a Ziplock though!

  • @
@georgiadalsass51482 years ago I’ve flown with United 4 times and all have been so different, some were really good, and some definitely not so much.
  • @
@dustinmuniz91706 years ago I was a Continental FA pre merger. Miss that airline soooooo much!
  • @
@sebastianl.28866 years ago I love your vids :) Best channel ever! Good job and keep it up!
  • @
@lukepederson61286 years ago 757s are my favorite planes. Also Continental was my favorite airline too
  • @
@theunitedflight64875 years ago When you said "scariest" part, I would say "greatest" part because it is time to fly United. yesss 1
  • @
@ChrisZoomER4 years ago I've never actually flown coach on a wide-body jet, thanks for the review!
  • @
@charleee7876 years ago Exact same situation here! Flew JAX-EWR every month on Continental as a kid, and I have mixed feelings about the post-merger situation now. Love your video :)
  • @
@alexgilmour4216 years ago I strangely have always had good experiences with united- even upgrades! On one of their older 757s going from JFK to SFO had broken Ife so they gave everybody free food!
  • @
@sophietruesdale3718last year in 2018, I flew United from DUB-EWR, same problem, no inflight entertainment screen! all movies usually on the entertainment screen can be accessed through the United app though
  • @
@barbhell28856 years ago When I flew a few months ago American won over United for my flights. Thank you.
  • @
@jonathanandchristopher.40476 years ago Watching your reaction on these flights actually makes me choose my future airline to go with when I grow up. Thanks for making sacrifices to fly airlines and to react to the airline's food, cabin, crew, and many more. Keep up the good work buddy. ...
  • @
@b.wooten45056 years ago I’m headed to Israel on United and really appreciate your video!! Thank you!
  • @
@gabemempin6 years ago Great review! Worth the five day wait :)
  • @
@hectorcruz1276 years ago Dan got to give it too you.those are amazing reports so detailed. I'd love too see videos on Hawaiian air and on condor thanks alot.
  • @
@IAMdevilwomen5 years ago I fly United to Dublin August 6th...my first time with United, I normally fly Delta, love them....it's a late birthday present to myself, b-day is august 1st...
  • @
@Papershields0016 years ago United has cut back on almost all of the domestic route entertainment systems. Tho I have to say, after a few flights just providing my own entertainment, I tried the streaming through their app and it was honestly as good as having the big screen in the seat back. It might actually be better b/c there is less of that inescapable glare when you’re trying to relax.
What they really need on the seat is a holder or at least a good spot to set down an iPhone or iPad.

@eeeeeoww6 years ago about a month ago I flew on a United 757-200 from SFO-EWR and it had a brand-new cabin (I think we may have been the first flight with this interior since our flight was delayed because the aircraft was late out of the hangar!) and a great, brand-new IFE. The seats were nice and slimline and the entertainment choice was better than it seemed to have been for you... ...
  • @
@anirudhcherukat83546 years ago As for IFE, their international 777's all have personal seat back screens. And on that domestic flight, even though there were no screens, you can still stream to your device.
  • @
@Ethans-Life2 years ago Great review. On the long haul flights I have been on the food hasn't been to great and I have been on a lot of long haul flights. However your main course actually looked good. I love watching flight reviews mainly because I love to look at the seat and the food on each aircraft over the different classes. ...
  • @
@ameatperson67796 years ago in all fairness, more and more people bring too many carry ons. this is an issue on most of the airlines ive flown lately 14
  • @
@protocolofficer26296 years ago Bless you for going to the depths of economy, just for us👏🏽. It is appreciated by me, who, now that I have achieved advanced years, will never, ever again travel in that area. Back in the dark ages when
I flew what was then called tourist, it wasn’t that bad. Most people were on their best behaviour and even dressed for the part. Today is a different story, so from you, I know I am doing the right thing. You are officially promoted to sainthood. Cheers Dan, Colin.

  • @
@vedballary22416 years ago Great vid!!!!! Also, could you do an economy class review of Singapore Airlines plz
  • @
@davidtjahjadi50796 years ago Nice, New York to San Francisco on a 777....
  • @
@flopsyrabbit20116 years ago That aircraft brought me from ewr-edi. One of the best flights I’ve ever been on
  • @
@sportnbigwood6 years ago Dan I hate flying United, but buying miles on them can be a real advantage! Recently I bought miles with an 80% bonus. In total I got 147,000 miles for $2900USD, I traded those miles in for a Lufthansa First Class ticket HKG to MIA w/ a stop in FRA. Saved me over $9600USD on the one way fare. ...
  • @
@JK-hu3jk6 years ago 757 is my most favorite single isle plane
  • @
@andrewbabbo1236 years ago United’s 757s and some older 767s have the old IFE systems. The international 777s have the newer system, almost identical to American’s. It’s so much better than the old one.
  • @
@heha97526 years ago People need to stop ragging on United, and US airlines in general. I bet most who criticize them don’t regularly fly on them. Idiots don’t realize that not every airline is Emirates. 42
  • @
@flywithhuddy6 years ago I flew on one of their Domestic 777s from New York to Hawaii, it was a 10 and a half hour flight, but sense it was a Domestic flight, United got away with the no IFE and food you had to pay for 4
  • @
@therandomgamer2745 years ago I know this is old but what were they spraying on the aircraft ? That green stuff?
  • @
@olivergray13676 years ago Can’t wait to see Boeing’s replacement for the 757 which is not far away now!
  • @
@thememechannel57445 years ago I've always had good experiences with united airlines.
  • @
@association3306 years ago Clear + Pre saved me probably 10-15 mins. coming home from AUS today. But shhh, keep it on the DL man. ;-)
  • @

  • @
@reido13156 years ago i am 12 and i love continental so mad united bought them out anyways great job on the vids
  • @
@brendan60666 years ago Wow, united has a pretty eh product. I flew an ancient 777 to hawaii once (im not going to lie put it may have been the first one ever delivered it was so old) and it was a pretty eh experience. It was cold but their was great legroom (i am younger then most but and they did upgrade us to Eco+) but we had to wait 11 hours for our flight!!!!!! We were supposed to fly a 767-400ER witch i was super pumped about because it is one of my favorite planes but the door was dented and they had to ferry the 777 from SFO.... i know how they could have made it way better but yeah whatever. Amazing video! I love this series! ...
  • @
    @haraldlorentzen406 years ago Nice video.
One question: Would it be possible to reduce the size of the Clear logo?? It takes up a bit much screen estate.

  • @
@matthewbrew7776 years ago I flew MAN-EWR-MCO last year on United, and the standard was very average. Some of the cabin crew members were actually quite rude to us. However, I flew Virgin Atlantic LGW-BGI a couple of weeks ago, and their overall cabin product was excellent. ... 2

@wc25126 years ago In the future, I have a few airlines that you could try:
    - TUI
    - Jet2
    - Flybe
    - Balkan Holidays

@danzepdea13496 years ago @Dantorp Aviation i've been waiting for delta, so where is it?
  • @
@jakebenesch636 years ago hi daniel, i am taking a trip to europe and was wondering which airline is better: ryanair or easyjet
  • @
@gabrielsalomavelazquez23186 years ago Hi Dan, it would be helpful if you are doing a 3-direct-competitors-review, why not to post a final grading table so as to know exactly where to expect better service in a certain aspect or stage of the flight, for example: final grade: cost/benefit - 7. Service. 8, on board value- 6, seat - 4, etc. That way one can compare from one to another and decide which one to buy. ...
  • @
@pabloeduardocampos66174 years ago To/from LIM to/from USA, Delta and United are by far the best options. AA has a terrible service to Lima on an old configuration on their 767 and 757.
  • @
@nicolego32636 years ago For the next Vblog please Show us your flight Apps you use to find best Price und Most Miles etc. thanks

@advianjoseph6 years ago United has some of the oldest Aircrafts in operation till date. Like the B-757 and B-767 both are 35 years Old and their smaller aircrafts CRJ-145, CRJ-200 and CRJ-700 needs some Serious upgrade.

@K1_Trains6 years ago i can relate last break i was on a flight from dc to denver and de iceing took for ever we were on the runway for about 2 and a half hours (about half the flight time) geting de iced and the flight crew were so nice they let people stand up if they wished go to the restroom and even offred water to any one who wished i have flown united at its worst and at its best and overall when it comes down to the acutal service i find this airline good yes they screw up but its only made things better. Bost the whole draging thing last year in my opinon there service really got better and we were geting tons of free upgrades becasue no one was flying but in the end if i ever had to pick bettwen the 3 airlines united would be my first pick ...
