@BlickThePancake2 years ago When Dustin says 'I wish everyone had gotten to know him, really know him, because they would have loved him' 😭that hit me hard the second watch because there's something so sweet about how we as the fanbase were the ones who were able to get to know him and love him 🖤🖤 (srsly duffers bring him back tho) ... 1589

@fallinrain4Him2 years ago The Duffer brothers really struck gold with Joseph Quinn. I feel like a character like Eddie could have easily become too much or too annoying if portrayed by a lesser actor. Joseph gave him depth and made him so ridiculously likeable. He initially started off as a character I thought would get on my nerves, but then the scene in the woods with Chrissy happened. That’s when I started to love him. I cried so much when he died. Joseph did such a great job. He comes across as such a genuinely lovely person too. ... 2743

@GenoX19872 years ago Can we just take a moment to acknowledge how good his american voice was. Hearing him speak in his british accent feels like he is playing a character here, and Eddie is the real Joseph Quinn. 369

@lisamorrison21492 years ago It's a great testament to Joe's acting skills that he was able to become such an endearing character as Eddie. And the fact that he played his own guitar is the cherry on top. I would love to see Eddie come back in Season 5. The Duffer Brothers can figure it out. ... 5276

@irwinvasquez98582 years ago Just great writing. The 80's nostalgia was turned way up. Eddie performing Master of puppets in hell to help defeat the prince of darkness is the stuff of fantasy. Also having Dustin his little sidekick there was just perfect. That scene will go down as one of the best things in entertainment for all time. ... 171

@SK-mw8vd2 years ago He is so amazingly not obsessed with himself. The way he shrugs off the interviewers compliments on his own scenes, admits to not being capable of a Kirk Hammet solo, yet GUSHES over everyone elses moments. By name too! You can tell that he cares, which only makes me love Eddie more. ... 131

@metallicaandjustice12 years ago That scene with his uncle made both me and girlfriend cry. Just the thought that everyone thinks that he’s a murderous psychopath apart from those who know him. For Dustin to talk to his uncle and tell him what really happened was beautiful.
I also cried when Eddie died and when he play master of puppets. As a Metallica fan that was just brilliant. It’s also good to see metal being introduce to a whole new generation.

@essenceweebkittyx32 years ago Despite Joseph coming to terms with Eddie's death himself--I'm still very in denial about it...it's like vol2 completely blanked out my brain to cope with what happened to my favorite character, The Duffer Brothers took our hearts then crushed them like, WYM NOT IN THE NEXT SEASON?? DON'T BURN MY LAST HOPE OF EDDIE STILL BEING ALIVE IN THE UPSIDE DOWN... 😭💔 ... 2876

@phoenix_132 years ago It was sad to see Eddie go not only in the sense that he died, but also that he never got to prove himself to anyone in Hawkins other than of course his friends. • @
@BehindTheBush962 years ago Eddie’s was by far the most depressing character death I’ve ever seen in my life. He was one of my favourite characters, and definitely a lot more interesting and had so much more depth of character to him than anyone else.
Would’ve preferred if literally anyone else was killed - Eddie had already been through so much and got treated like crap just for not fitting into the narrow stereotypical mold of what everyone else was like. And everyone still hates him without even knowing him - even after he died trying to save the world 😔
And can we take a moment to appreciate how flawless Joseph’s American accent was? Would never have guessed he was a British actor and he just doesn’t sound right with the British accent after watching him in Stranger Things haha.

@spideywebz50892 years ago I loved the character of Eddie immediately, because he was so out there and bonkers - but then he was so kind to Chrissy when her own boyfriend hadn't noticed that anything was bothering her and that was it: I was absolutely smitten with him.
Eddie was just so damned pure. I've never cried so hard over a character's death before. And I sobbed my heart out again while Dustin was telling Mr. Munson what a hero Eddie was.

@caitlinwhite78212 years ago Am I the only one that noticed that Joseph looked kind of sad in this interview? He looked teary-eyed and when they talked about Eddie’s death he seemed upset 🥺 Eddie was my favorite character, and then he died saving a town that hated him. The fact that he died in Dustin’s arms, just killed me inside. It was really well written, I literally have never cried like that over a death scene in a movie or tv show. Usually when there’s death scenes of characters that I like, I normally just tear up or am just sad. But Eddie, that was a completely different story. I related to his character a lot and his character just means so much to me. He helped me in my personal life in ways I can’t explain. Thank you Joseph Quinn, for bringing this character to life for so many people including myself. I love you 💛 ... 1

@dirtyfunkymonkey2 years ago He subverted expectation so beautifully... There were so many layers to the beautiful Eddie Munson. As a grown man in my 40s I'm not shy to admit I had tears in my eyes when I knew what was happening. Gutted doesn't cover it. To create such a wonderful character to just do that to him was cruel. Kudos to Joe Quinn, who brought this character to life so perfectly... Eddie Munson's legacy needs to be restored! ... 565
