With that in mind, I listened to my community, read comments and engaged with Wix Design Pros. Today, I am bringing you the Introduction of a multiple part series. The series is called: "Wix Ecommerce: The Ultimate Guide To Building An Online Store in Wix" Part 8 of this Wix Ecommerce series is dedicated to showing you how to add custom product reviews to your online store in Wix. This is an extremely powerful tool as reviews influence a large percentage of online shoppers. Giving your shoppers this option will help you ultimately increase sales on your Wix online store. Not only does this apply to your online store, but this system will also help you create a custom testimonial upload system or even a custom commenting system for your blog, social network or more. This is a must when developing your online store in Wix. This series is specifically made for entrepreneurs, CEO's, Founder's, President's and Co-Founder's looking to build an online store for their startup/business or re-design their existing online store. So, Reviews are shown for all products and not linked to the specific product from where the user submitted the review. Any clue? Thanks in advance ... 2

@clarefoster16914 years ago Hi your video was great and i have successfully set up review and ratings. I do however have a problem which i cant seem to fix. The review people submit is showing up against every product which i do't want it to do. I suspect having checked everything that when creating the review database - i have added product field, i have changed this to reference however the only option i have is stores/product i don't have the same option come up as you which is just product and suspect this is what is causing the review to go across all products. Cannot find a fix for this so could really use some guidance. ... 2

I'm wondering if I can show/mirror the review results also on another page that has content referring to the product and a shopping cart button ( I have made a little "workaround" because I need individual product pages for each product in a nice design)

I have managed to do everything but when I insert reference on the review database to make sure the review is only posted on that member database (not product, member in my case) it doesn´t seem to work.
Can you give me some lights on what I might not be doing wel? I have a tab called full name that I set as reference to my members database (that has a full name that as well).

As MANY people have mentioned in the comments, this only works if you sell ONE product, which the vast majority of us do not. If you follow the instructions perfectly, all of the reviews will show up under every single product, rather than the designated product. This is not professional and will not make customers happy. I have not seen a response provided to anyone as to how that can be rectified. Further, in Reviews under Dataset, when I go to add field- "Products" and make Field Type "Reference", the "ADD" button disappears. Please advise how this is to be fixed. I have also been getting the error "wix code sdk warning: The rating parameter that is passed to the rating method cannot be set to null or undefined". I've followed this one step-by-step and cannot get the reviews for one product to show up on that product's page. My dataset doesn't collect the product when I submit the review. My repeater shows all reviews for all products. I've even gone in and manually added the products to my dataset in hopes they'd show up on their corresponding product pages. At about into the video, you mention how important that field is in the dataset because it is responsible for connecting the review with the product page it is on... I'm just totally stuck. Is there a resource out there for small business owners who don't need a whole Wix website designed, but just need a little help with a few parts of their site? (Or, has anyone else run in to this and were able out what they were missing??) ...
