Advance Acoustic MAA-406 factory problems. How do you bypass the protection mode when turning on

The first series of Advance acoustic MAA-406 (2006-2008) had some serious factory problems. Design wise I think the needles from the VU meters where to thin in this model. Very hard to see the needles moving from 4 meter distance. The needles in the newer X-A160 are thicker and the wright size.
