Moggill Shopping Village History

Situated where the former moggill post office and moggill shop once stood, construction of the $45 million shopping village west of Brisbane is the first new shopping centre development in the Moggill area since 1973. Formerly Bellbowrie Coles, Coles Moggill Village is also situated on this new flood-free site, important after the moggill floods and bellbowrie floods of 2011. Moggill Village Shopping Centre - Coles Moggill village shopping centre opened on the 12th of June 2021 (my birthday) - The Moggill Village Shopping Centre is beneficial for existing residents and will make the area more appealing for those that are considering a move. The new moggill village shopping centre created over 120 jobs at Coles moggill which has moved from the former coles bellbowrie, and another 50 positions in speciality retailers within the moggill village shopping centre plaza. The development at 3366 Moggill Road, Moggill, called Coles Moggill Village, is the first new shopping centre to be constructed in the area in 47 years. It includes a larger than normal 3500sq m Coles supermarket, 18 speciality shops (including a fruit shop, delicatessen, restaurant, pharmacy, newsagency, moggill post office and café) and a first floor office component. The Moggill Village Shopping Centre has more than 300 car parks.
