@chadpfister8334 years ago Clip Studio has so many great features that Adobe will never get around to putting into Photoshop. It's so dumb. Every CC update makes PS worse and more laggy for me. Clip Studio isn't perfect but it's so much better than PS. ... 126

@AMO174 years ago Been a clip studio paint user for years. Made the switch over from photoshop shortly after that damn monthly subscription mess came about. It’s what I use for all my works and it’s awesome to see one of my favorite artists using it! ... 4

@straypaws63394 years ago I’m so happy you’re starting to use CSP! I’ve been using clip studio since the beginning of my digital art journey and always felt intimidated by painting in it because I really didn’t know where to start. It’s so inspiring to see something like this being done in a style I’ve been so scared by! ... 14

@Kayseurounet4 years ago I've recently switched to CSP - since my artstyle has switched to lineart/anime-style recently I feel like it's a much better fit. PS is still nice, but nowadays I think it's not exactly worth the price it's asking for given how solid the alternatives are (not only for CSP but affinity etc).
    Thanks for the video btw!

@cmcnett4244 years ago Hey Dave. This was so helpful again. I've been working in Clip Studio from back when it was called Manga Studio. Love to see you branching out. I recently started painting in Rebelle 3 for watercolors in digital. I combine process of CSP with Rebelle for finish work. I appreciate the link for reference photos. Thanks for all you do. ... 1

@shaneyb_804 years ago Awe-inspiring work, I've now taken to stalking your work based on these videos. I've just taken a leap and purchased a graphics tablet and the CSP Pro, then I see this and think...oh boy...lots of work to do. Do you have any basic / beginners videos for digital drawing / CSP for your style? ...

@keikorennightbloom15604 years ago beautiful work. I've used CSP since it was Manga Studio way back. My background is in Anime style art but recently I've been studying painting in a more realistic painterly style, like yours ^V^. Sadly I don't have Photoshop and can't afford to pay monthly so I hope you make even more content with CSP. I just love your videos. keep up the good work. ...

@stabbyboi17534 years ago I tried CSP yesterday. And ... the brushes. Oh my God the brushes. They’re soooo good. But the problem for me as a long time procreate user is that I simply can’t handle the program all that well because it’s not as intuitive (and my iPad display is far too small 😅😂). ...

@passion4drawing2894 years ago CSP is an amazing digital painting program. It is simple to use, but hard to master. It has so many hidden things, I am still finding out things about it 5 years into using it. Here is a tip for figuring out how to adjust brushes. When you have a brush chosen. Go to Window>tool property. Click on the wrench in the lower right of the box. This brings up so many things to adjust on the brush it will blow your mind. Also experimenting painting in vector. (create a vector layer.) It is a whole new world! ...

@felipepi16794 years ago Hey Dave, can you export the brushes in a Clip Studio format? The thing about importing .abr is that you can't do it without first converting it to png, then build the brushes one by one from scratch, so the settings aren't the same without knowing the original ...

@DaveBarrack4 years ago Clip Studio Paint needs a few features before I can get rid of Photoshop. The Liquify tool is essential, are some of the live layer effects like dropshadow and bevel/emboss. If CSP cam implement those, it'll come a long way toward being the only paint program I need. ... 2
